What’s So Cool About Manufacturing? 2019

Macron was pleased to host students from Neil Armstrong Middle School for this year's "What's so cool about manufacturing?" Video contest.

What's so cool about manufacturing day logoThe 2019 “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” video contest is once again in full swing and Macron Dynamics is again happy to support local students with their entry into the event.  Macron Dynamics is being featured in a video produced by students from Neil Armstrong Middle School. The entry is one of 30 being made by schools in the Philadelphia region. Statewide, there are 18 regional contents and hundreds of schools participating. Voting for the Philadelphia region will be March 27 through March 29.

The annual contests excite students to explore cool manufacturing careers and produce profiles of companies throughout Pennsylvania. Judges in each regional contest bestow a variety of awards, and each contest features an online vote at WhatsSoCool.org for its Viewers Choice Award.

“This is a fun innovative way to excite and educate students on the variety of opportunities available to them in the manufacturing and automation industry.”

Craig Marshall, Macron Dynamics, Inc. COO, EVP and Chief Marketing Officer.

Macron Dynamics has long supported the education community participating in prior “What’s so cool…” contents and events like Manufacturing Day.

Created by the Manufacturers Resource Center (MRC) in Allentown, PA in 2013, the What’s So Cool About Manufacturing? contests draw entries from teams across Pennsylvania. The teams of students and teacher coaches receive camera equipment, software, and professional guidance as they learn to script, record, and edit their video stories. The contest’s objective is to change students’ perceptions about manufacturing careers.

Thanks to all of the students who participated in the What’s so cool about Manufacturing? Video contest at Macron Dynamics. For more information about this initiative, visit whatssocool.org
