Macron Single Belt X-Z Robot
Note the simple single belt design which removes the added weight of the servo from the Z axis. This type of motion can be used for anything pick and place oriented and the extruded design means that we can scale this for virtually any application.
PSCS Low Cost Screw Actuator
Ideal for light duty applications, the PSCS actuator is a low cost screw style linear actuator which provides travel up to 12". Features include an injection molded self lubricating cart (shuttle) and a space-saving MacFRAME chassis. Options include motor mounts for NEMA 17 and 23 stepper motors, carts and mounting hardware.
Huge High Speed X-Z Gantry
This large format X-Z gantry was built by Macron built for a government contractor for use in a missile defense calibration tester. The system stands 15ft high and is 16ft wide! The payload shown here is 35 lbs. but the entire Z axis weighs 135 lbs. Macron Rail actuators and massive 480VAC servo motors are featured.
Foosball Table Automation
Macron Dynamics, PSC low cost linear actuator with plane bearing used to develop an automated Foosball table by engineering and robotics students at the University of Waterloo. Macron offers a number of solutions for entertainment industry applications as well as educational robotics competitions.
Robotic Transfer Systems
Macron's belt actuators and framing were designed into this glass rod handling system which included a rotation move and and tranfer product from one process to another by shuttling to another actuator which then lowered the rod into position for grasping.
