We showcased a few different applications for the Linear Robotics Automate 2015 including a Mac-in-a-Box, T-Bot, High Speed H-Bot Gantry, and more.
H-Bot gantries from Macron Dynamics feature a lightweight and modular design, allowing systems to reach areas in large envelopes at a high speed and with high repeatability.
Our high speed, high performance X/Y H-Bot linear robot is constructed of a simple design, a single belt driving both axes.
Macron multi-axis robotic automation systems are used in a high speed, DVD packaging fulfillment order application.
A high speed Macron multi-axis robot provides automation in a package labeling application.
This high speed Macron 14 moves at a speed of 40 feet per second and demonstrates the incredible speeds that can be achieved with Macron belt driven linear actuators.
A large dairy products packaging company required rapid vertical axis travel in their case packaging and bottling lines automation. Product was being moved over long spans between multi-level conveyor systems. Case packaging operations required a fast pace and long Z axis stroke to move product. End effectors are often large and heavy which can introduce a pendulum effect. Macron application engineers suggested using a MacBUILT Dual X / Dual Z configuration consisting of MSA-14 heavy duty actuators.
This video demonstrates a product transfer "pusher" unit that is used to move sacks of product from one stage to a conveyor transfer system. The system features two MacBUILT heavy duty rail actuators mounted in a dual arrangement with connecting shaft which provide X axis motion. A MacBUILT "Z axis" rail actuator with a 50mm-wide belt provides vertical motion and mounting for a pusher blade.
Long travel, speed, and precision are staples of Macron belt driven linear actuators. This extra long linear actuator is 20 meters in length.
This is actual running footage from a large format X-Z gantry that Macron built for a government contractor. The details are classified, but it's used in some sort of a missile defense calibration tester.
