Robotic Transfer Unit 7th axis system

RoboTrack System calibration. Deployed as part of an an industrial work cell, this belt driven RTU (robot transfer unit) demonstrates the Macron Belt Drive Rail actuator’s ability to hold a repeatability tolerance of +/- .001″ while moving a 2800 Lb.  (1270Kg) robot over a distance of near 30′.  While some would say, this can only be done with a rack and pinion type of system, Macron has been doing these kinds of systems for years, with the advantages and flexibility of our belt drive actuators.
