Macron Actuator and Motor Drive Utilized for Vision System Quality Control
November 15th, 2010 by macrondynamics.

An inspection camera and lighting required a precise reciprocating tracking motion back and forth over a 2 meter length in less than 3 seconds. The ability to vary the speed of travel and control the position of the inspection camera while performing optical inspection was also needed during process development. The inspection module needed to be an add-on element to existing processing equipment. Structural beam strength, smooth motion, and independent "plug and play" controls were necessary.

Macron Multi-Axis Gantry System is Used in Automated Optical Inspection Station for Large Solar Panel Manufacturer
February 16th, 2010 by macrondynamics.

A product test station required an overhead transport system with integrated frame. Due to testing parameters the entire system needed to be non-reflective. Standard clear anodized aluminum components would not meet the requirement.

Automated Test System Traversing Unit for Rail Inspection
December 3rd, 2009 by macrondynamics.

A measuring sensor module required guidance and tracking over a long distance and at high speed rate. The sensor travel requirement was 36 meters at a speed of 50km/hr. At more than 118 feet, actuator length was quite long in this application but not a problem for the Macron 14. Macron designs are well suited for long distance automated motion requirements and environments.
