Macron Tsunami Actuator


A scale model tsunami tank at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry uses theĀ Macron Single Belt Drive actuator to push a wall of viscous fluid down the 30 foot tank which simulates the propagation and inundation of ocean waves. The amplitude and duration of the waves are changed within the program by stroke length and speed.
