Pick and Place T-Bot Gantry Robot with Single Belt

This application is a pick and place process for the automated transfer of a product from a feed conveyor to the final package assembly. The automated system utilizes a Macron TBG-12 XZ gantry with a light duty single belt and a dual fixed motor multi-axis actuator.

The video shows the system mounted on a temporary test stand for off-line program development. Note the simple single belt design which removes the added weight of the servo from the Z axis. This type of motion can be used for anything pick and place oriented, and the extruded design means that Macron can scale this for virtually any application.
