Museum of Mathematics Entrance | 256 Belt Driven Actuators & Independent Axes

Learn more about Macron Dynamics’ wide range of automation applications today!

USA, Universal Services Associates is a state-of-the-art designer and builder of exhibits and structures. The Museum of Mathematics (MoMath) in New York City challenged USA to create a distinctive dynamic wall for the museum’s entrance. USA engaged Macron Dynamics to provide the actuation system for each panel. Macron chose the MSA-PSC actuator for the challenge. The MSA-PCS was an economical solution with a profile that matched the panel dimensional specification. The plastic cart is quiet and maintenance free which is important to the exhibit function.

The dynamic wall system featured 256 of one of Macron Dynamics’ most popular and economical belt driven linear actuator, the MSA-PSC actuator, moving on an impressive 256 independent axes. Macron Dynamics provided the belt driven actuators, motors and mounting, and control panels for the MoMath’s Dynamic Wall.
