Macron Dynamics President Anthony J. Cirone Named Leaders in Technology Award Finalist

Anthony J Cirone, president and founder of Macron Dynamics, Inc., a manufacturer of belt driven linear actuators and multi-axis automation systems, was recently nominated as a finalist for the 2012 Philadelphia SmartCEO Leaders in Technology Award.

Anthony J Cirone, president and founder of Macron Dynamics Inc., a manufacturer of belt driven linear actuators and multi-axis automation systems, was recently nominated as a finalist for the 2012 Philadelphia SmartCEO Leaders in Technology Award.

Cirone, who founded Macron Dynamics in 1987, was a finalist in the SmartCEO Magazine’s Small Business Technology Implementer category. According to SmartCEO Magazine, finalists were chosen based upon distinguished achievements as leaders, innovators, and implementers in technology in the Philadelphia region. The award commemorates the role technology plays in the local region’s community, and celebrates the large effect the business leaders have on their regions economic growth.

As the CEO, President and Chief Technology Officer of Macron, Anthony J. Cirone has been working in the automation industry for over 30 years, with more than 20 spent developing Macron Dynamics, Inc. Cirone was chosen as one of the 27 honorees for the SmartCEO Leaders in Technology Awards. “I feel honored that Macron has been recognized as a growing company in our region, and am thankful to have such a dedicated team of innovators behind me.”

SmartCEO is a comprised of a community of CEOs and business leaders, with a shared mission to inspire and encourage the success and growth of community businesses and professionals. The publication’s Leaders in Technology Awards focused on the regional business leaders in the Philadelphia area, whose companies produce approximately $3.4 billion in revenue and employ more than 15,000 people. Jaime Nespor, the Group Publisher of SmartCEO magazine spoke highly of the finalists, claiming the finalists’ innovative visions and implementation of technology gave the leaders a large competitive advantage.
