Area Sales Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a high-performing Area Sales Manager to serve as the right hand to our VP of Sales and Marketing. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving sales performance, managing day-to-day operations of Sales and supporting the growth of Macron Dynamins, Inc. The ideal candidate will blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution and bring both leadership experience and a passion for operational excellence in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing to implement sales strategy and achieve revenue targets
- Coordinate the generation and delivery of opportunities and quotations which lead to orders
- Coordinate between sales, application engineering, and manufacturing teams to streamline workflows
- Support distributors, manufacturing representative and key account relationships alongside senior leadership
- Analyze sales data and CRM reports to monitor performance and optimize activities
- Help manage and scale sales tools, CRM systems, and reporting dashboards
- Step in for the VP of Sales and Marketing as needed in meetings, approvals, or leadership duties
- Domestic travel as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 3 - 5 years of sales experience in industrial, automation, or technical product environments
- Ability to interpret customer supplied technical data to size, select and recommend the correct linear robotic solution
- Ability to learn technical motor and mechanics sizing software
- Good general knowledge of mechanical components, servo and stepper motors, and sensors
- Demonstrated success in team leadership or senior sales operations roles
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on, proactive leader with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with distributors and manufacturing reps preferred
