The MDS-SB5 is a high-speed cartesian gantry robot designed for synchronized linear motion in industrial automation systems. Featuring a dual X-axis configuration with independent belt-driven carriages, it delivers precise and coordinated movement for complex pick-and-place or assembly operations. Its modular frame supports flexible motor and gearbox mounting to accommodate custom multi-axis setups. Built with durable aluminum and steel components, the MDS-SB5 ensures long-term reliability, minimal maintenance, and stable performance in demanding environments.
Center-to-center spacing is the distance between each actuator cart’s center line. Each X-X’ system can be supplied with T-slot sensors, gearboxes, or motor mounting adaptors upon request. Some X-X’ systems include cable track; please refer to the Product Specification download document for the standard size.
