CROYDON, PA — Macron Dynamics Inc., a manufacturer of linear actuators and multi-axis automation systems, has been featured in a success story on export.gov and recently hosted a facility tour by the Director General of U.S. Commercial Services, a division of the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Since being honored with an Export Achievement Certificate at the Trade Winds Forum and Business Development Conference in Mexico City, Mexico last spring, Macron has continued to find success in the distribution of their products to international markets through the assistance of programs like those offered by U.S. Commercial Services.

In the success story featured on export.gov, Craig Marshall, executive vice president of Macron Dynamics, talks about Macron’s international sales efforts. “For many years, Macron conducted business in Canada through a sole distributor of its products. Canada was an easy country to establish our export business due to the North American Free Trade Agreement,” said Marshall. “By 2009, however, the company was focusing on expanding its international portfolio, and contacted the U.S. Commercial Service (CS) office in Philadelphia for help in tapping new global sales opportunities.”

In addition to showcasing Macron’s international export success being featured on export.gov, Macron was honored to host a tour of their facility with Suresh Kumar, director general of U.S. Commercial Services this past July.

“It’s an honor to be recognized,” said Marshall. “We appreciate the recognition as we have and continue to work hard to improve and bring our products to new markets.”

While Macron has found success expanding their exports to many countries, Marshall indicated that Mexico has served as a partner in introducing Macron to other South American markets, serving as a launching point for product expansion into North, Central, and South America.

“We see abundant market opportunities in the Americas in many sectors Macron’s linear actuators and multi-axis automation systems serve, including automotive parts, IT/ telecom, housing and construction, electric power generation, medical equipment, safety and security, environmental technologies, packaging equipment, logistics/transportation, and agribusiness,” said Marshall.
