Acuators Offering Superior Performance
MACRON linear actuators are designed for long life and are tested at full capacity for thousands of cycles to ensure trouble free operation. They are used in linear motion systems for multi axis positioning where both speed and accuracy are required.
Belt drives feature a steel reinforced polyurethane belt that helps deliver repeatable, accurate positioning by preventing belt stretching. Both lightweight and flexible, the belt has a high tensile strength and trapezoidal-shaped teeth. In addition to the durable belt, no lubrication or maintenance is required when MACRON acuators are used under normal operating conditions.
The belt drive actuator design offers performance advantages beyond the typical ball screw, lead screw, or acme screw linear actuator including higher rigidity, higher moment loads and faster speeds.
Travel is limited in length only by the actuator profile itself. When selecting an actuator, important specifications to consider include length of travel, rated load, positional accuracy and maximum rated speed. MACRON linear actuators feature travel up to 500 ft., loads to 10,000 lbs., repeatability to +/- 0.001 inches and speeds of up to 600 inches per second.
Actuator Components or Complete Systems
MACRON linear actuators are available as a single axis solution, assembled for a multitude of gantry X-Y and X-Y-Z positioning duties, or as part of a complete mechanical motion system. Optional features include dual independent belt systems, different belt widths, multiple cart configurations, sensors, single/double bearing blocks and stainless steel components. There are several motor mounting options for MACRON linear actuators. Typical mounting consists of a motor mount (28 or 40 mm) and a motor adapter NEMA 23, 34 or 42.Wide Range of Linear Motion Applications
