Macron Dynamics is currently working through a website facelift that will provide more organized product details along with a line of standard actuators and belt drives that will be available for purchase online. In addition, Macron is implementing a Selection Guide to help users determine which actuator or belt drive is recommended for an application.

“A large component of Macron’s expertise is in engineering custom linear motion systems, gantry systems, and actuators for unique applications,” said Craig Marshall, Executive Vice President at Macron. “However, we believe our actuators and belt drives are the best available and are suitable for a wide range of applications that require less engineering expertise.”

To meet demand for these applications, Macron will be offering a standard line of linear actuators and belt drives available for purchasing online. Users will be able to select from standard travel lengths and specify both shaft type and drive shaft locations. In addition, the Selection Guide will allow users to input basic application data to view which Macron actuator or belt drive is recommended for their application.

Future plans include the offering of a “plug and play” actuator for sale online which will be sold complete with a UL approved motor and PLC.
