In the aerospace industry, inspection of components is vital to success and safety. This ball screw positioning table was developed when a client in the aerospace industry approached Macron engineers about designing a table for inspecting panels. The system utilized a Macron XY dual rail positioning table which had a device attached to it to perform x-ray examination of the panels. This helped detect any flaws or defects in the panels.
