This large automated gantry system spans a grid of 45 feet by 27 feet of travel. Developed by Macron for use as a calibrating and inspection tool, the gantry masks a large military tracking system used to monitor the location of fighter jets. In order to calibrate and check the accuracy of the tracking system, a path was preset by a program to the X-Y system.
